I have never talked about how many followers I have, reblogged a post from someone else’s blog, or published a response to a message I’ve received. I will never Reblog in order to ‘be promoted’, and I have Anonymous Messaging disabled on my account.

Because this blog is my blog. It’s contains my thoughts, my emotions, my words, my story. I feel blessed to have the followers that I do. The actual number of those followers has no meaning, for why should the worth of my blog be measured by a number? I believe my blog is fantastic; I enjoy the writing style of my blog, along with each post I make. And that belief will never change, no matter how many times the number does. In the same sense, I choose never to reblog, because although I may agree entirely with each word a person is saying, those words are not my words.

For, at the end of the day, all I have are my words. Even my thoughts are too often consumed by unwanted memories, and the only thing I have complete control over is when and in what way I open my mouth to speak. And I will always, always, stay loyal to that priveledge by never taking advantage of the wonderful blog I have.
